SIR Counselling Therapy offers a variety of counselling services including traditional counselling where you attend more than one session on a weekly or fortnightly basis, single session solution focused therapy and REWIND visualisation technique for traumatic memories, which is delivered over one or two sessions.
During your first session with SIR Counselling Therapy you will be emotionally guided to explore your difficulties. Depending on your preference and difficulties we can also complete an assessment questionnaire, to keep a track of your emotions and progress.
A counseling session with SIR Counselling Therapy typically lasts for 50 minutes, although session length may vary depending on your specific needs and preferences.
For children and young people sessions are upto 45 minutes duration.
I am based within the Emotional Wellbeing Group at 14 Market Street. There is a bright pink building next door which makes it easy to find.
The train station and bus station are located within a stones throw. There are also several pay and display carparks around Wigan Town Centre.
Please note the counselling room does have 2 flights of stairs. If climbing stairs is not feasible and you would like to book in sessions, I can offer your sessions via telephone or online. Online and telephone are also available to anyone who has this preference.
